A Perfect 6-Day Retreat at Temple Tree – Heritage, Serenity, and Warm Hospitality We spent six unforgettable days at Temple Tree Resort in Langkawi, and it was truly one of the most remarkable stays we’ve ever had. The resort’s collection of beautifully restored heritage houses transported us back in time, offering a unique blend of charm and character while still providing all the modern comforts we needed. Each house tells its own story, making the experience all the more special. The lush gardens surrounding the property created a serene and peaceful environment, perfect for relaxation. The pool area was another highlight for us—especially the pool shaded by the iconic tree from which the resort takes its name. We spent hours lounging by the water, soaking in the tranquility of the surroundings. The food at Temple Tree was absolutely delicious. Every meal at the on-site Paloh Restaurant & Bar was a treat, with flavors that perfectly captured the essence of Malaysian cuisine. The attention to detail and quality of the dishes made every dining experience memorable. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were met with genuine warmth and kindness. The team was incredibly helpful and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their dedication and friendliness made us feel right at home. Our 6-day stay at Temple Tree was a perfect balance of relaxation, cultural immersion, and outstanding hospitality. the properties have been brought in as examples of the type of traditional housing seen in Malaysia - so we stayed in Penang 1. landscaping is superbly done. the swimming pool is very long and beautiful. the staff are amazing. really friendly. great food served at restaurant - and brilliant cocktails - try the Vietnamese mojito. we never eat at hotel restaurants but did a few times here.

The only problem with Temple Tree is that it is too perfect with such a lovely setting, a delightful swimming pool and gardens, adorable kittens to watch and good natured staff serving good value and tasty food and drinks it is so tempting not to leave the grounds. The room are very spacious and plantation 5 have 2 large bedrooms each with a good ensuite and a sitting area for reading, chatting or watching TV.

We loved the general ambience, the beautiful gardens and very helpful and pleasant staff. The unusual nature of the antique wooden accommodation was a delight, complemented by the eclectic choice of furniture.. The restaurant is very good. We would certainly stay there again.

The location is great, the property and the buildings/gardens are lovely, well maintained. The restaurant is fab, mixing western food if you want but also allowing you to try local dishes. It’s good value and the staff are fantastic!! they honestly can’t do enough for you and are so friendly! Breakfast is full of home made breads/crossaints/cakes as well as the omelette station and the other choices!!
